I thought I'd share a fun look back at my own journey as a newborn photographer and share with you all 🙂
It took 4 years from when I first started before I saw any real progress to be proud of which, felt like an eternity at the time. There wasn't any online education for newborn photographers and no Facebook support groups where you could ask a question and almost instantly receive an answer. There was pretty much nothing available and back then no one shared information or travelled to Australia to teach workshops. So, I had to be patient and practice learning purely from trial and error.
There were times when I wanted to give up, especially after comparing my work to others. But I persisted and worked my butt off, I even proved a few people wrong that had told me I wouldn't survive in this industry and that baby photography was a phase that wouldn't last. Success truly is the greatest revenge 😜
Now, I love nothing more than the privilege it is to share my knowledge, experience and skills with all of you.
Seeing the growth in this group, how fast you're all achieving amazing results is just the best!
Remember to look back at your work often, be proud of your results and don't compare yourself to anyone else. There is no race against anyone else to be the best, be there best YOU can be today and run your own race xxx
