Our next pose we will focus on will be The Bum Up Pose.
I love using little outfits and wraps to style this pose, and my clients love it because it shows off their baby’s beautiful little back rolls as well. My top tips for perfecting one of my most requested poses are:
POSE FOUNDATIONS
Start this pose on a flatter surface. After you have the baby into position, use supports to create that arch in the baby’s back.
SAFETY TIP
Only raise the baby to where it is comfortable.
Never force them.
ANGLES
Have the baby’s face square on to your camera. Imagine that there is a straight line from your lens to the top of the baby’s nose – not underneath the nose.
Focus on the baby and what they’re comfortable with. Getting “the shot” is not as important to the parents as the comfort of their baby. They just want to remember how perfectly tiny their baby was.
